Poland tour

Now we're finally back from our Poland tour. Everything is well, the car didn't break down and everyone's okey. Our trip went from Skien and all the way to Karlskrona south-east in Sweden. From there we took the boat over to Gdynia in Poland and then drove to our first performance place which was Tczew. We stayed there a few days then went north to Gdansk for a day off. After this we've been traveling a bit back and forth to places like Chojnice, Torun and Pruszcz Gdanski.

My expectations were very different from the experiences I had. Polish people are very hospitable. They took us out for dinner at restaurants and fed us all the time. Basically I was impressed by how nice they treated us.

Here's a picture from inside a Catholic church. We got time to look around in the different towns we went to, and I found Poland to be a very cool country. It has a lot of history and many buildings we were in were over 800 years and older. The church on the picture was about 800 years old and was a gothic style building or how you would say it.

In Chojnice the pastor of the church let me try his 1942 russian war-motorcycle. It's a 948 ccm and as you can see in the picture it has a sidewagon (with place for a machinegun) and also a lot of cool military effects, like an original military police siren.

Here's the last place we went to have our show. It was in Torun, a town with over 250,000 inhabitants. The church you see there is not a church anymore but is used as a pub and concert hall. It lies in the middle of town, as if we would have a show in Stortingsbygget on Karl-Johan. I think it goes without saying that it was fun :)Now I'm going home for the weekend after we have a show in Helgeroa this friday. Then we're going on a tour to Ă…lesund area from next week on. No rest for the weary :)
